Wolmap Mobile Application and Service Provider Admin Interface Data Privacy Policy

The Wolmap mobile application you have downloaded, as well as the Service Provider Admin interface, are operated and provided by Wolmap Kft. (registered office: 2040 Budaörs, Nefelejcs Street 1, Building 1, Staircase 1, 2nd floor, Door 3, represented by Managing Director Richárd Sándor Recska).

In order to use the Wolmap services fully, it is necessary for the User (hereinafter: User) and the person or company registering for the Service Provider Admin interface (hereinafter: Service Provider) to provide certain personal data to Wolmap Kft. Wolmap Kft. treats this data confidentially, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and only uses it for the efficient and high-quality operation of the Wolmap services.

Wolmap Kft. processes the data in accordance with the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information and Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services, as detailed in this Data Privacy Policy.

Wolmap Kft. is committed to data protection and considers it of utmost importance to fully respect the informational self-determination rights of its clients. Wolmap Kft. treats the data it manages strictly confidentially and takes all technical, organizational, and security measures necessary to ensure the protection of the data. Downloading the application, registering on the Service Provider Admin interface, and providing personal data are always voluntary.

The User and Service Provider are responsible for downloading and registering voluntarily and with adequate information. The person or legal entity providing the data is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data. Consequently, Wolmap Kft. is not liable for inaccurate or false data provided.

Purpose of Data Processing:

The purpose of data processing is to enable the use of Wolmap’s location-based services and other functionalities, as well as to allow Wolmap Kft. to send surveys and information to Users for service evaluation and development purposes.

Legal Basis for Data Processing:

The legal basis for data processing is the consent of the User and the Service Provider, as per Section 5 (1) d) of Act CXII of 2011, and Section 13/A (3) of Act CVIII of 2001 (Electronic Commerce Act). The data processing is also compliant with Article 6 (1) a) of the GDPR, which governs consent-based data processing.

Scope of Data Processed:

The data processed for Users includes GPS coordinates, related activities, and optionally uploaded images and text content. For Service Providers, information provided on the admin interface, such as the service location, event details, GPS data, and optionally uploaded images, is processed.

Additionally, technical data about the electronic device (mobile phone, tablet, computer, etc.) used by the User and Service Provider, which is generated during the use of the Wolmap application and automatically collected by the system, may also be recorded.

Permissions Requested by the Application:

For the Wolmap application to function properly, the user must grant the following permissions on their device:

• Location: During application use, the User’s location is transmitted based on GPS functionality and/or the device ID to display nearby locations and events. The GPS coordinates are used solely for the basic functions of the application, and Wolmap Kft. does not store this data.
• Memory Access: Access to the device's memory is required for the User to upload images to various services or events created by Service Providers.

By using the application on either iOS or Android systems, the User and Service Provider consent to Wolmap Kft. collecting anonymous, statistical data regarding the duration and frequency of application use for analytical purposes. GPS coordinates are recorded only for the core functionality of the app and are not stored as outlined in the "Location" section.

Duration of Data Processing:

Wolmap Kft. processes the data as long as the registration is active. If unlawful or misleading data is provided, or if the User or Service Provider violates the terms outlined in the General Terms and Conditions (GTC), or if a crime is suspected, Wolmap Kft. reserves the right to delete the data of the individual concerned. However, if there is suspicion of a crime or civil liability, the data may be retained for the duration of the investigation.

Access to Data:

Personal data is accessible only to the User and the employees of Wolmap Kft., and the data is used only to the extent necessary for the functioning of the application. Wolmap Kft. does not grant third parties access to the data, except in cases where required by a court order or governmental authority.

During registration, the User and the Service Provider consent to Wolmap Kft. combining the processed data for statistical or informational purposes. However, these combined data sets do not enable the identification of the User, and therefore, are not considered personal data. These combined datasets will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

Withdrawal of Consent:

The User and the Service Provider can withdraw their consent to data processing at any time. Deleting the application or deregistering from the Service Provider Admin interface will also result in the withdrawal of consent.

Legal Remedies:

The User and Service Provider may exercise their rights to remedy under Act CXII of 2011 and Act V of 2013 (Civil Code) and may contact the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) with any data processing concerns (address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa Street 9-11).

Wolmap Kft. will handle any questions, issues, or requests related to data processing via the contact information provided in the User GTC, particularly via contact@wolmap.com .

Third-Party Websites:

The application may direct users to third-party websites; however, Wolmap Kft. is not responsible for the content or data processing practices of these websites.

If the User or Service Provider does not accept this Data Privacy Policy or the User GTC, we kindly request that they refrain from using the application and do not register for the Service Provider Admin interface.
